Many have been asking me lately, who is this Kid Ink dude
and what’s all the hype about? What I respond with is that I didn’t know who he
was over a month ago but he is definitely someone worth checking out. If you
don’t know by now you must be living under a rock but he is making a stop at
the Roseland Theatre in Portland, OR June 26th. So what I am going
to do is give you a quick rundown about him, check him out and buy a ticket,
you won’t want to miss out on a great concert.
Born and raised in Los Angeles Kid Ink has acquired a unique
sense to music emerging on the music scene in 2010. He has created a brand new
sound previously unfamiliar in the Los Angeles area. His debut mixtape “Crash
Landing” became an underground sensation with impressive download numbers in
the first week of its release. His YouTube channel has over 10 million views
for videos “Keep It Rollin”, “La La La” & “Run This”. His underground
following has reached over 90k Facebook fans and 172k twitter followers.
Kid Ink is signed to independent label Tha Alumni Music
Group alongside DJ Will & DJ Rockstar. He has recorded songs with some of
biggest names of the music industry like Chris Brown, Sean Kingston, Soulja
Boy, Cory Gunz, Red Café, Meek Mill and Machine Gun Kelly. Aside from rapping,
Kid Ink spends some time behind the board and writing songs for some major
artists.
This year Kid Ink is releasing his debut album “Up &
Away” on June 12th His debut single “Time of your life” is already
taking over local radio stations and the official video got over a million
views in just three days.
To sum it up, Kid Ink is someone not to sleep on. So join us
at the Roseland Theatre on June 26th 2012.
