Kid Ink Concert Portland, OR 6/26

So the Kid Ink concert is fast approaching so I figured I would introduce you to new music and a quick introduction of the opening acts (in case you don’t know who they are).

What’s new from Kid Ink? Well, his debut album “Up & Away” comes out June 12th. He has been busy on tour delivering some hot performances while cranking out some jams to build up to the release. This week he released the official video for “Lost in the sauce” and the official remix of “Time of your life” with Tyga & Chris Brown.

Cassow

Cassow is an up and coming artist that has been creating quite a buzz in the area. Recently recording a track with Freeway.

RoseBent

Passionate and determined, Rose Bent, a stand-out all-female hip-hop crew, joined forces in 2010 with a mission to represent the silenced voices of women in hip-hop. Hailing from Portland, Oregon, The City of Roses, Rose Bent is comprised of three aspiring musicians: Jacque a.k.a. J-Kronic, Lady Trinity & Rose City MissChief. Few of the select ladies in a genre some call dead, Rose Bent takes hip-hop for a thrilling and inspiring ride to the future. Collectively, Rose Bent has shared the stage with many hip-hop legends including 2Mex, Clipse, Baby Bash, Canibus, Lil Rob, Yukmouth, Afro-Man, & Cool Nutz.  Persevering through so many obstacles in order to pursue their dreams, the ladies of Rose Bent all started off their music careers as hard-working solo artists. Performing throughout the Northwest and abroad, they had taken note of each others talent, until one day Lady Trinity approached Jacque & MissChief asking if they were interested in performing together. The rest is history.

Quiz

Another up and comer making a name for himself. Recently releasing his mixtape “The day before 2morrow”, Quiz has been doing his thing and letting people know he has something to bring to the table. He will definitely bring another great element to the concert.

S. James

 Benji Pachino

MacSmiff

Another local favorite Mac Smiff will bring the energy level up at this event. Check out his latest project available for free download.

So with a line up like this, we are definitely in for a good time. Come support your local artists and enjoy a great concert from an artist making major moves. The best thing of all is that a percentage of the tickets sales will be benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. So it will be a good time for a good cause (kids you can use this as an excuse to get your parents okay to come to the concert).

See you all there!
